Nicole Costa is a graduate of the Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford. She majored in Music Production and Technology with a focus in classical voice and currently works out of central Connecticut.
Nicole produces the music of local artists and self-produces her own music. She has a passion for all things audio and has worked on studio recordings, sound design, audio dramas, video productions, and everything in between.

Nicole Costa has many years of experience in music production utilizing a variety of DAWs such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Studio One, and Audacity. During her studies at the Hartt School of Music, she also gained experience working with the university's analog studio equipment and console.

Nicole Costa has experience working with various audio production elements, including Qlab and Dolby Atmos mixing. She was the sound effects coordinator for the Hartt Theatre Department for two years, and has taken classes in immersive audio and post-production for film and television.
Automated Dialogue Replacement
Nicole has experience with recording full sessions of automated dialogue replacement. The above video is an example of a clip that has had its dialogue fully replaced by secondary voice actors.

Audio Drama Production
Nicole is the current head audio engineer of the Kingdom Keepers Let's Read Rewritten project, which is an amateur, non-profit audio drama adaptation of the Kingdom Keepers book series by Ridley Pearson. She is responsible for collecting audio from various remote voice actors and editing and compiling lines alongside background music and sound effects.

Nicole Costa is self-taught in video production softwares Davinci Resolve, ClipChamp, and Canva Video Editor. She also is proficient in OBS and Twitch livestreaming.
2025 Rocky Hill Library
Summer Reading Promotional Video
Nicole was the sole producer for the 2025 Summer Reading promotional video for the Rocky Hill Library. She was responsible for recording narration performed by Children's Librarian Maeleah Carlisle. The video was then produced using the Canva video editor.
2024 Rocky Hill Library
Summer Reading Promotional Video
Nicole co-produced the 2024 summer reading promotional video for the Rocky Hill Library alongside three fellow librarians. She was responsible for voice-acting, editing audio, filming live video clips, and operating puppets.
Inside Carbone's Prime Food Truck Livestream
In 2022, Nicole assisted the Rocky Hill Library on a livestream demonstrating the culinary delights of the Carbone's Prime food truck in Rocky Hill, CT. She was responsible for providing and managing the audio and video while the event was livestreamed, as well as editing the video in post to be uploaded to the library's YouTube.

Nicole Costa is a graduate of the Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford, where she majored in Music Production and Technology with an instrumental focus on classical voice. She has a passion for all things audio and has worked on studio recordings, sound design, audio dramas, video productions, and everything in between. She is also a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, and she plays many of the instruments that appear on her self-produced songs.
Nicole prides herself on being of Portuguese descent, and can speak her father's native language as well as French. She is a self-proclaimed fangirl and enjoys many books, movies, television series, and video games, often finding song inspiration in them. She is also a lover of cats and is the proud owner of a tuxedo named Sombra.
